<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rush current flowing toward an output terminal after starting by a control signal, in an IC for a regulator having a control terminal to control ON or OFF of a circuit from the outside. <P>SOLUTION: In an IC for a regulator including an outside control terminal (CE) in which a control signal for instructing ON or OFF of a control circuit is applied, a current source (Tr0 and R3) that is connected in series between a voltage input terminal or an output terminal and a ground potential terminal, and a reference voltage circuit (Tr2 and Tr3) are provided. The connection node of the current source and the reference voltage circuit is connected to an external terminal (CS) to which an external capacitor is connected. The reference voltage circuit is constituted so that a depletion type MOS transistor and an enhancement type MOS transistor are connected in series, and the voltage corresponding to the difference between the threshold voltages of those transistors are output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
