PURPOSE: A cylinder head and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to limit oil drain by allowing a central valley to pass through the surface of the cylinder head between upper and lower chambers. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder head comprises a first side unit(12), a second side unit, a center unit(16), and passages. A first chamber(14) is formed in the first side unit. A second chamber(22) is formed in the second side unit. A valley(18) is formed in the center unit. The passages are formed by the cylinder head and separate the first chamber from the second chamber. The passages transfer fluid between the first and second chambers. One passage discharges fluid from the first chamber to the second chamber.
