<p>The device i.e. silage compacting device (1), has a cylindrical roller body (3) formed such that the roller body is freely rotatable. A small, separate, staggered elevation unit (4) is arranged on the roller body. An additional weight (10) is pivoted about an axial bearing line (11) of the roller body, such that static force and inwardly acting line load (8) are increased. A sharp edge of the roller body acts on a silage material, such that the high static force acts on the silage material on a small support plate (12), in order to generate soil pressure on the support plate.</p> |
