<p>Protective electric switch with a melting member (4) provides quickly and simply inserting or removing of the melting member (4), however only upon pivoting the protective cover (3) into its opened position, by which the electric circuit within the switch is interrupted. Accordingly, each physical accessing the interior, in particular the melting member (4) and other electricity conducting parts is physically enabled only upon interruption of the electric circuit throughout the switch. Such switch namely comprises a casing (1), into which a bearing member (2) is inserted, which is able to be pivoted around the pivot joint (20), and a protective cover (3), which is pivotable around the pivot joint (30), is attached thereon. As soon as the cover (3) is pivoted into its opened position, the electric circuit within the casing (1) is interrupted by means of a crank (33) in the area of the interrupter (17), upon which also pivoting of the bearing member (2) together with the melting member (4) around the pivot joint (20) is enabled.</p> |
