<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker for cooking tasty rice without burning or uneven cooking, capable of preventing a periphery from being soiled by scattered bubbles caused by boiling over. <P>SOLUTION: The cooker includes a cartridge 7 for collecting a liquid boiled over from a rice cooking pot 2 and returning the collected boiled-over liquid to the rice cooking pot 2, and a heating control 9 for heating the rice cooking pot 2 by applying electricity to a heating body 6. When cooking the rice, a preheating step, rice cooking step, and steaming step are successively carried out, wherein the rice cooking step includes a heating step, a high-temperature boiling and heating step and a boiling sustaining step, and in the high-temperature boiling and heating step, bubbles larger than those in the boiling sustaining step are generated in a cooking container, and the boiled-over liquid generated during the high-temperature boiling and heating step is collected by the cartridge 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
