PURPOSE: A motor-pump unit for a brake system is provided to simplify the structure for preventing the leakage and reduce the number of component by preparing a sealing member for preventing the leakage of the brake fluid in a motor shaft. CONSTITUTION: A motor-pump unit for a brake system comprises a modulator block(210), a bore(205), a pump unit(200) and a motor unit(100). The modulator block has an inlet(224) and an outlet(248). The bore is formed in the modulator block. The pump unit is installed in the bore. The motor unit is combined in a coupling hole(170) formed in the modulator block. The motor unit comprises a motor driving unit(110), a motor shaft(120), a front bearing(140), a needle bearing(130) and a sealing member(150). The motor shaft receives the torque from the motor driving unit and is revolved. The front bearing supports the motor shaft. The needle bearing changes the rotational motion of the motor shaft into the linear motion. The sealing member is coupled with the motor shaft. |
