<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can produce image data based on image signals obtained by repeatedly imaging an object at a plurality of different light exposure levels, in which the decrease in AF speed is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: An AF evaluation value generation section 118 processes an image signal outputted from an imaging circuit 106 in accordance with each exposure of a plurality of different exposure levels and consecutively generates an AF evaluation value which is an index for evaluating the focus adjustment state of an imaging lens 150. A correction processing section 120 corrects the imaging signal inputted to the AF evaluation value generation section 118 or the AF evaluation value generated in the AF evaluation value generation section 118 so as to obtain nearly the same AF evaluation value regardless of the difference in light exposure level when the imaging signal outputted in a state of the same imaging scene and the same focus adjustment is processed. A focus adjustment controller 124 outputs a control signal to a focus driving section 156 based on the AF evaluation values generated in the AF evaluation value generation section 118 so as to obtain a sharper image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
