<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sherbet packed in a hermetic container for normal temperature distribution, which is stored and distributed at a normal temperature, and is frozen by a freezer to form a sherbet having a soft texture to be favorably when eaten, compared with that of an ordinary sherbet and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the production of a sherbet packed in a hermetic container by packing and sealing a sherbet mix in a positive pressure can and freezing the sherbet mix into a sherbet state, an alcohol content and a carbon dioxide gas concentration of the sherbet mix or a gelling agent concentration and a carbon dioxide gas concentration of the sherbet mix are set to produce a sherbet packed in a hermetic container for normal temperature distribution. The method for producing a sherbet packed in a hermetic container is applied to liquors and beverages containing alcohol for brewing.
