PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDA with a car navigation system, a vehicle management system, music, videos, a TV playback function all gathered into one, which, at the time of using a car, can be set up in the car to be used as the car navigation system and to improve the vehicle security by the personal authentication system.

SOLUTION: The information terminal equipment combines a vehicle information terminal function and a portable information terminal function. The information terminal equipment can be used as the vehicle information terminal equipment when set in the vehicle and as the portable information terminal when removed. By setting the information terminal equipment in the vehicle to use the personal authentication function, the antitheft function is improved and vehicle use information can be switched with each driver. Vehicle recall information and electronic control soft update information are obtained and noticed to the driver. Information such as a vehicle body inspection and a inspection by regulations is stored in an external memory device and noticed to the driver.
