<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head advantageous in enlarging a sweet area while increasing a carry. <P>SOLUTION: A horizontal direction from the toe 8 side to the heel 5 side of a face surface 1 of a golf club head 10 is set as an X-direction, and a vertical upward direction is set as a Y-direction. Coordinates of a center point C of the face surface 1 are set to (0, 0). When the coordinates of a center-of-gravity point P are (X1, Y1) and the coordinates of a maximum deflection point Q are (X2, Y2), the following conditions are satisfied. X1 is within a range of 0 to 10 mm, Y1 is within a range of 0 to 10 mm, X2 is within a range of -10 to 0 mm, Y2 is within a range of -10 to 10 mm, a distance ΔL between the center-of-gravity point P and the maximum deflection point Q is 5-15 mm, and an angle ϕ defined by a straight line LA connecting the center-of-gravity point P to the maximum deflection point Q, and the X-direction is 0-70°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
