<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for attaching an ear loop string of a face mask with high efficiency, which apparatus can arrange the ear loop string to a given position instantaneously by using air flow instead of a mechanism for arranging the ear loop string to the given position of a face mask body, the length of the ear loop string of the face mask being accurately prepared in advance by a string supplying apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus 1 for attaching the ear loop string of the face mask, the face mask body 11, which is manufactured in another process, is carried under a string guide plate 35 by a conveyor 14. The ear loop string 22 is led to an air valve 33 of the string guide plate 35 through a string guide tube 34 from a string winding drum 22a equipped with a servo motor 21. The ear loop string 22 is carried to the end of a U-shaped groove 39 by the air flow generated from the air valve. The ear loop string is then welded on the face mask body by welders 32a and 32b, and the ear loop string is then cut by a cutter 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
