<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin excellent in thermal conductivity with a simple resin, little reducing thermal conductivity and little increasing intrinsic viscosity by heat treatment, and improving productivity per unit time by further shortening production time compared to a case of polymerizing under no catalyst conditions. <P>SOLUTION: There is disclosed a method for producing a thermoplastic resin having a specific structure by transesterification between a non-aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an acylated product obtained by acylating with an aliphatic acid anhydride a hydroxy group of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an aromatic diol, a herocyclic diol, an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid and a heterocyclic hydroxycarboxylic acid. The thermoplastic resin is produced by the acylation and/or transesterification conducted under the existence of a condensation-polymerization catalyst containing at least one metal selected from the metal group belonging to groups 4-15 in the long form of the periodic table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
