The tube has a tubular body (1) made of glass or plastic, and a carrier strip (2) pushed into the tubular body. The strip comprises a bend (6) in longitudinal direction, where a tip of the bend is directed away from a housing of a fluorescent tube lamp in a state in which the tube is mounted in the lamp. A set of LEDs (3) is arranged on a side of the strip, where the side is directed away from the housing in the state. The body comprises two half-shells that are made of glass or plastic and aluminum, respectively. One of the half-shells comprises a corrugated surface. An independent claim is also included for a fluorescent tube lamp comprising a holder element.
