<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display apparatus and a video display method, enabling a plurality of viewers to simultaneously view a video having the same contents. <P>SOLUTION: A video display apparatus comprises: three-dimensional image generating means that generates a three-dimensional image signal from a signal for generating a three-dimensional image to be input; and image mixing means that outputs a mixed image signal to a video display unit, and the mixed image signal is obtained by mixing the three-dimensional image signal and a two-dimensional image signal to be input to a first region displaying the three-dimensional image and a second region displaying a two-dimensional image, unlike the first region. A video display method is a method of: generating the three-dimensional image signal from the signal for generating the three-dimensional image to be input; and outputting the mixed image signal to the video display unit, and the mixed image signal is obtained by mixing the three-dimensional image signal and the two-dimensional image signal to be input to the first region displaying the three-dimensional image and the second region displaying the two-dimensional image, unlike the first region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
