<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable switchover of a playback object to streams different from a main stream. <P>SOLUTION: In an example, a PlayList includes a Main Path for Video and Audio in a Clip-0, a Sub Path-1 for 2nd Video and 2nd Audio in the Clip-0, and a Sub Path-2 and Sub Path-3 for Audio in a Clip-1 and Clip-2 respectively. The Sub Path-1, -2, and -3 are configured to be playback paths of SubPath_type which is allowed according to the type of the PlayList (e.g. SubPath_type=7 and 5 in this example). The use of such PlayList allows a user to select a desired stream from streams in the Clip-0, -1, and -2, which are different from the main stream such as Video and Audio in the Clip-0.
