SPOT COOLING UNIT AND COOLING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A spot cooling unit and a cooling system are provided to secure a rack arrangement space within an instrument room while consuming low power. CONSTITUTION: In a spot cooling unit and a cooling system, a local cooling unit is arranged in the upper part of an electronic device. A housing has a hollow space therein. An inlet(23B) is installed in the bottom of the housing and absorbs an air from an electronic device. An evaporator(20X,20Y) is installed within the housing and vaporizes a refrigerant through heat exchange with the air. The refrigerant passes through the inner side of the evaporator. An outlet(23D) is installed in the side of the housing and discharges frozen air. A fan(23E) is installed in the inlet and moves the air to the outlet.
