<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail device for a vehicle in which the vertical dimension of the slide rail device can be reduced, even when locking mechanisms and lock-release levers are disposed in the inner spaces of upper rails. <P>SOLUTION: The slide rail device includes: fixing members 30 which fix bottom walls 22 of lower rails 21 stretching in the lengthwise direction of a vehicle to the floor surface side of the vehicle, and has the upper sections configuring protruding sections 31 which protrude upwards from the bottom walls; locking mechanisms which are provided between upper rails 35 and the lower rails, and which restrict or release the restriction on the sliding of the upper rails; and lock-release levers 47 which are rotationally, in an up-down direction, provided on the upper rails, and which release the restriction of sliding by the locking mechanisms. Rail-integrated sections 47a of the lock-release levers disposed between the upper rails and the bottom walls of the lower rails have base walls 47d disposed in a position higher than the protruding sections, and side walls 51 disposed at the side of the protruding sections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
