The present invention creates an electrophotographic device. It has an image-forming device for forming an image on a light-sensitive element (2), a transfer device (8) for transferring the image formed by means of the image-forming device on the light-sensitive element (2) onto recording paper (P), and a paper transporting device for conveying the recording paper (P) from a feeding region to the transfer device (8) and for dispensing the recording paper (P) with the image transferred onto it to a dispensing region. The feeding region is arranged obliquely above the light-sensitive element (2) and the dispensing region is arranged obliquely below the light-sensitive element (2).
