<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station apparatus capable of continuing to provide stable communication with a small circuit size even when a GPS signal is not available for use, and of suppressing increasing of interference. <P>SOLUTION: A base station control unit transmits an asynchronous notification signal while being switched to an asynchronous communication mode when an external reference signal is not received. The base station control unit is further switched to the asynchronous communication mode and performs communication control according to whether or not the base station control unit is switched to the asynchronous communication mode when a signal indicating that a peripheral base station is in a asynchronous state is received. An output adjustment unit reduces transmission power of a radio signal when the external reference signal is not received, and increases transmission power of the radio signal when the external reference signal as well as the asynchronous notification signal is received. A clock selection unit selects a first reference clock as its own reference clock when the external reference signal is received and selects a second reference clock as its own reference clock when the external reference signal is not received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
