摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a vehicle with a brake device having a double force mechanism that can increase the driver's stamping force of a brake pedal, as the vehicle which can more properly assist to be given the braking force according to stepping down of the brake pedal by the driver. <P>SOLUTION: When a failure of falling off of voltage of an auxiliary machine battery to under the threshold occurs as a predetermined failure to suspend the torque output from a motor in the midst of traveling by motor, the engine and the motor are controlled so that torque output from the motor is suspended, while the engine is started and carried out self-sustained operation. Thereby when a brake pedal is stepped down by a driver after a predetermined failure occurs in a declining slop road etc., and the torque output from the motor is suspended, braking force is more surely given to the vehicle, since a double force mechanism operates with engine negative pressure even when the power from auxiliary machine battery cannot be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
