<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize an electronic thermal protection function mounted on a power supply device to prevent thermal damage of electronic parts and loads. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a first current amplifier part 11 and a second current amplifier part 2 can output a current to the outside independently. A first current detection part 21 and a second current detection part 22 detect the each output current from the first current amplifier part 11 and the second current amplifier part 12. A first thermal protection part 31 and a second thermal protection part 32 square the each output current detected by the first current detection part 21 and the second current detection part 22, and integrate each of them by the predetermined hours, and then generate an alarm signal when the each obtained calculated-value exceeds the respective threshold values by comparing the former and the latter. The first thermal protection part 31 changes the threshold value used by the first current amplifier part 11 according to the output current from the second current amplifier part 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
