<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell which has high power generation efficiency without reducing the amount of light transmitting from the base material side of an anode to the dye-sensitized solar cell, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell has a base material of a fiber sheet composed of a conductive fiber. As the fiber sheet is full of voids, it hardly shields light transmitting to the dye-sensitized solar cell. For this reason, the amount of light transmitting to the dye-sensitized solar cell is hardly reduced. Semiconductor materials and dyes are existing throughout the fiber sheet, and the number of contact point between them and the conductive fiber forming the fiber sheet can be increased to efficiently collect electrons generated by reactions with light from the semiconductor materials and dyes, which makes the electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell superior in current collection performance, and high in power generation efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
