PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color sample or the like capable of digitizing and presenting color tone quality of a completed printed matter.

SOLUTION: In the color sample display medium showing the color sample of the printed matter, the permissible range of the predetermined color difference is digitized and presented which is the color difference of the printed matter with the color sample as the reference in a prescribed pictorial pattern point on the color sample printed by a printer.
