PURPOSE: A pontoon structure with enhanced bending strength against an external force is provided to selectively extend the width of buoyant pipe supports through horizontal joint. CONSTITUTION: A pontoon structure with enhanced bending strength against an external force comprises a buoyant pipe support assembly(20), a plurality of buoyant pipes(10), reinforcing beams(70A,70B,70C), a reinforcing beam fixing plate, damping elements, a frame assembly, a plurality of slab pedestals(50), and a slab(60). Reinforcing ribs(11) are installed on the exterior walls of the buoyant pipes. The buoyant pipes successively pass through buoyant pipe coupling holes(21A,21B,21C) of a plurality of buoyant pipe supports(20A,20B,20C), wherein the reinforcing ribs are coupled with rib coupling grooves of the buoyant pipe coupling holes. The reinforcing beams reinforce the bending strength of the buoyant pipes. The reinforcing beam fixing plate fixes the reinforcing beams installed in the buoyant pipe supports. The damping elements are installed at regular intervals on the top of the buoyant pipe supports in order to absorb the load of a structure installed on the slab.
