The device has a body (2) for axial blocking of two parts (18, 20) provided with a base plate with an axial passage for passage of a rod (16). An axial blocking unit blocks the body with respect to the rod. A support (10) supports the body on one part (18), where the body includes an axial blocking unit i.e. radial shoulder, on the support. The support includes a reception housing that defines an opening allowing passage of the axial blocking unit of the body. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a part on another part carrying a rod orthogonal to an assembling plane.
