<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that allows an automatic analyzer which mixes a specimen with a reagent and measures the changes of a mixture over time to automatically determine or predict a linear range which is specific to the specimen and appears in a reaction process. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention approximates a reaction process with a function and automatically determines curved sections in an early stage and/or in a late stage of the reaction process based on the function. The invention determines a linear rage excluding the curved sections for each specimen and, based on the absorbance data in the determined linear range, calculates an examination value. The invention also automatically determines a start time of the linear range in the early stage of the reaction process based on the absorbance data obtained in a course of the reaction process and calculates an estimated value based on a predicted linear range from an ending time of the same and the previously projected ending time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
