<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide PDP in which the interval between a front-side board and a back-side board is kept to be fixed and occurrence of audibility noise and occurrence of cross-talk are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: A front-side board 11 having plural parallel display electrodes 14, a dielectric layer 15 and a protection layer 16, and a back-side board 17 having plural parallel data electrodes 18, a base dielectric layer 19, partition walls 20 and a phosphor layer are disposed so as to face each other through the partition walls 20 and form a discharge space therebetween, and the peripheries thereof are sealed by a sealing material to form PDP 10. The base dielectric layer 19 is provided in an inner peripheral area 41 of the back-side board 17 except for an outer peripheral area 40 of the back-side board 17 and the sealing material is constructed by a first sealing material 25 provided in the outer peripheral area 40 and a second sealing material 28 provided in the inner peripheral area 41. A large-size granular material 29 is disposed in the first sealing material 25, a small-size granular material 30 is disposed in the second sealing material 28, and the particle size of the large-size granular material 29 is set to be larger than that of the small-size granular material 30 by the amount corresponding to the film thickness of the base dielectric layer 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
