The present invention is based on Synergistic effects of netural compound as a fungicide and bactericide for agriculture crop especially cumin crop. The fungicidal activity of cinnamaldehyde which is extracted from cinnamon plant part wood as well as leaf that is active against fungus Fusarium sp., Alterneriya sp., Aspergillus sp., mainly cumin crops infected fungal sp. that is killing the sporulation as well as the fungal hyphie on the said crop and active compound eugenol is extracted from clove bud or rose petal which is having bactericidal activity against some of plant pathogenic bacterial sp.like pseudomonas sp., Xenthomonas sp. excellent on cumin crop. Compound cinnamaldehyde examined using direct contact application and fumigation methods and compared with that of Benzaldehyde and Hexaconazole while compound eugenole compared with that of antibiotic straptocyclin and copper oxicloride. On the basis of 24 h LD50 values, the compound most broad sprectrum toxic to pathogenic fungi of cumin crop was cinnamaldehyde at (0.1 µg/cm2) followed by cinnamaldehyde acetate (1.00 µg/cm2), benzaldehyde (1.25 µg/cm2), 3- phenylpropionaldehyde (2.00 µg/cm2), cinnamyl alcohol (2.25 µg/cm2), salicylaldehyde (2.80 µg/cm2), and (E)-2-hydroxycinnamic acid (3.50 µg/cm2). These compounds were more potent than benzaldehyde (10.00 µg/cm2) and Hexaconazole (15.00 µg/cm2), while on the basis of 24 h LD50 values, the compound most toxic against plant pathogenic bacteria of cumin crop was eugenole at (0.5 µg/cm2) followed by straptocyclin (2.5 µg/cm2) and copper oxicloride (50.00 µg/cm2). Mode of action of both the compound prevents or protects the cumin crop through the stop pathogenic organism by killing or static action to fungal and bacteria organism respectively cinnamaldehyde and eugenol by foliar spraying on said crop. |
