<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyepiece lens in which aberrations are excellently corrected across a sufficiently wide angle of view, an overall length is not long even with sufficient eye relief and increase in a lens diameter can be suppressed and to provide an optical apparatus equipped with the eyepiece lens. <P>SOLUTION: An eyepiece lens 3 for use in an optical apparatus such as a telescopic optical system TS includes, in order from an object side, a first lens group G1 having negative refractive power, a second lens group G2 having a lens element with a convex surface facing an observer side and a third lens group G3 having positive refractive power. A focus plane on the object side of the third lens group G3 is positioned between the second lens group G2 and the third lens group G3. The first lens group G1 includes, in the order from the object side, a first lens element G1A having a meniscus shape and negative refractive power with a convex surface facing the object side and a second lens element G1B having negative refractive power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
