<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacture efficiency while suppressing multiple interference of a multilayer optical recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A bottom layer portion has different-thickness layer units formed in which spacers are different in thickness respectively, and equal-thickness layer units in which spacers of the same thickness dare to be successively arrayed are formed over the different-layer units. Generation of serious multiple interference can be effectively suppressed by providing the different-thickness layer units to the bottom layer portion. Further, the multiple interference can be effectively suppressed by providing the equal-thickness layer units in which the spacers of the same thickness dare to be successively arranged over the different-thickness layer units. The multilayer optical recording medium has the structure in which the spacers of the same thickness are successively arranged, so a common laminating process for the spacers is employed for the part, and the manufacture efficiency is improved as compared with cases in which the spacers are made different in thickness so as to completely prevent the multiple interference from being generated. Further, the array of the spacers of the same thickness is allowed, which is more advantageous in suppressing the thickness of the whole recording medium as compared with cases in which spacer thickness are set such that multiple interference is completely prevented from being generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
