<p>The method involves detecting joint positions of joints of a human hand by sensors for acquisition of movements of number of degrees of freedom of the human hand. The movements of degrees of freedom, which are not detected over a separate sensor, are computed based on the anatomical interconnections of the degrees of freedom of the human hand. An angular position of a small finger-base joint is calculated from positions of the base joints of the index finger, middle finger and ring finger, where the angular position of the small finger-base joint is 90 degrees. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a data acquisition device for detecting movements of a human hand (2) a method for constructing an artificial hand.</p> |
