<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forging method capable of improving the forming limit of a material. <P>SOLUTION: The forging method is provided for extending a cylindrical material 18 in the radial direction thereof by pressing a cylindrical roller 12 to an end face 28 of the cylindrical material 18 rotating about the center axis.
