<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for high-frequency thermal treatment capable of keeping constant the space between an induction heating coil and a workpiece through the period during which high-frequency induction heating is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A high-frequency thermal treatment apparatus 10 that performs thermal treatment on a heating target local part 22 surrounding a ring body 20, includes a ring body rotating means 11 for rotatably driving the ring body 20, an induction heating coil 15 arranged in a state of being in close proximity to part of the heating target local part 22 and induction-heating the heating target local part 22 of the rotating ring body 20, an induction heating coil supporting/moving means 14 for supporting and moving the induction heating coil 15, and a controller 30 that drives the induction heating coil supporting/moving means 14. The controller 30 is configured to move the induction heating coil 15 with respect to the ring body 20 by driving the induction heating coil suporting/moving means 14 while maintaining substantially constant a gap between the induction heating coil 15 and the heating target local part 22 during the period from the start of the high-frequency induction heating to the end thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
