<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting an animal such as a pet exemplified by a dog and a cat, and cattle and fowls exemplified by a cow, a pig and a chicken from blood sucking by a blood-sucking flying insect pest such as a mosquito. <P>SOLUTION: The animals such as the pet exemplified by the dog and the cat, and the cattle and the fowls exemplified by the cow, the pig and the chicken can be protected from the blood sucking by the blood-sucking flying insect pest such as the mosquito by treating the animals with a controlling agent containing 3-phenoxybenzyl 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-methylprop-1-enyl)cyclopropanecarboxylate and/or an essence of pyrethrum as essential ingredients. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
