The cabinet has a door (1) for receiving electronic components (3) that are superimposed and/or arranged in a side-by-side manner in vertical and horizontal mounting positions. The door is arranged corresponding to mounting positions of the components and/or runs perpendicularly to a detector device (4) i.e. radio frequency identification (RFID) reader. The detector device cooperates with transponders (5) i.e. passive RFID chips. A set of spacer elements (11) is permanently arranged on the components in a direction of the door. The detector device is connected with an evaluation unit.
