<p>A video image encoding method, decoding method and device thereof are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. According to the pixel points corresponding to k Motion Vector Predictors (MVP) of the current block in the reference image, the searching region is segmented; k regions to be searched are segmented from k regions to be segmented; the motion estimation is performed to each sub-region to be searched and the regions, which is outside of the region to be segmented, in the searching region, and the Motion Vector (MV) of the current block is determined; if the determined pixel points corresponding to the MV of the current block is included in any sub-region to be searched, thus, according to the MV and the MVP corresponding to the MV, the Motion Vector Difference (MVD) of the current block is obtained; and the MVD is sent to the decoding end after encoded. The encoding method provided in the embodiments of the invention can improve the encoding efficiency.</p> |
