<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for preventing outbreaks of an operation failure of a valve even in a long-time use without complicating the device and without increasing the dimension thereof in regard to a pump, which includes a check valve and which transfers a fluid of a mixture of a liquid and particles. <P>SOLUTION: Adhesion of the particles sinking with gravity to a valve seat is prevented by disposing the valve seat of the check valve so that a lower side of the valve seat is directed to an upper side in the gravity direction of a valve element.
