<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove muddy water in a structure where a male terminal is connected while being clamped by means of a plurality of contact pieces constituting a female terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The male terminal 60 which is connected while being clamped by means of a plurality of contact pieces 22 constituting a female terminal 20 comprises a male side body 61 which comes into resilient contact with a contact 26 formed on the inside of the plurality of contact pieces 22, and a receiving groove 64 which is recessed in the outer circumferential surface of the male side body 61 and capable of receiving foreign matters such as muddy water.
