FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention aims at increasing quality of finished rolled sheet and efficiency of rolling. Proposed method comprises consecutive reduction of strip with stretching in interstand intervals. Specific tension of strip q is selected subject to total reduction , steel yield limit âT and strip width B in rolling low carbon steels with âT ëñ325 MPa, equal to: at relation between strip width and length L of roll body B/Lëñ0.64 and - for B/L>0.64, while in rolling high-strength steels with âT>325 MPa for various ratio B/L specific strip tension q is specified by mathematical relationships. ^ EFFECT: better flatness of strip, reduced idle intervals. ^ 4 ex |
