PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for displaying the working radius of construction equipment are provided to prevent a safety accident by visually displaying the working radius of construction equipment using a laser. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for displaying the working radius of construction equipment comprises a beam generator(110), a power supply unit(120), and a control unit(130). The beam generator displays the working radius of construction equipment on the ground by generating a laser. The power supply unit supplies power to the beam generator. The control unit supplies power to the beam generator when the construction equipment is turned on by controlling the power supply unit. When the construction equipment is turned off, the control unit cuts off power supplied to the beam generator.
