PURPOSE: An insulation pad of a hot runner system is provided that the contact area between the insulation pad and manifold are minimized. The fixing force of the insulation pad and manifold is kept. In that way the heat loss of manifold is minimized. CONSTITUTION: An insulation pad of a hot runner system comprises an upper pad(302) and a lower pad. The upper pad comprises a connecting unit(310), a first contact unit(320), a heat loss preventing unit(330), and a fixing sill. The connecting unit accepts the joining part, the upper of the first contact unit adheres closely to the clamping plate. The clamping plate is supported, the heat loss preventing unit is recessed in between the connecting unit and the first contact unit, the fixing sill is protruded downward. The lower pad comprises a fixing unit(410), a second contact unit(420), and a second heat loss preventing unit. The joining part is fixed and coupled through the fixing unit in manifold, the second contact unit is projected in the outer circumference of the insulation pad, adhered closely to manifold, the second heat loss preventing unit has the non-contact section which is not touched with manifold, the contact area with manifold is minimized and the second heat loss preventing unit minimizes the heat loss.
