<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reduction in power supply voltage and resulting operation stop state, as seen in a conventional small electronic clock that includes a charging system such as a solar panel, and regularly activates a long reception mode for retrieving plural sets of information at one time when it cannot receive a signal from a GPS satellite, i.e., where the clock is placed indoors, and charging with a solar panel is not enough. <P>SOLUTION: By limiting information to be received at one receiving operation, navigation data is received efficiently in a short time, minimizing reduction in power supply voltage due to the receiving operation. Further, a time correction method is provided that enables acquisition of each set of necessary information one by one by setting a plurality of reception modes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
