PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide video with a picture quality to suit a plurality of users' tastes.

SOLUTION: A display device 10 comprises: a display unit 23 for displaying video; a user specifying unit 130 for specifying a user viewing the device; a picture quality specifying unit 170 for, when the user specifying unit 130 specifies a plurality of users, obtaining setting values corresponding to user information for identifying the specified users and for adjusting picture qualities from a recording unit containing a plurality of the setting values, and specifying a plurality of picture qualities of the video to be displayed on the display unit 23 based on the obtained plurality of setting values; and a picture quality adjustment instruction unit 150 for instructing a picture quality adjustment unit 22 to display a plurality of videos with the specified picture qualities on the display unit 23.
