<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack which can cope with variations in the thickness dimension of each battery cell, and obtains a sufficient restraint force to integrate a plurality of battery cells. <P>SOLUTION: A side surface orthogonal to a plurality of laminated rectangular battery cells 11 in the lamination direction X is pushed by a battery holder device 20 to integrally form a battery pack 1. The battery holder device 20 includes surface pressure members 22 interposed between respective battery cells 11 so as to push the battery cell side surface orthogonal to the lamination direction X, and connection members 23 to connect between the surface pressure members 22 adjacent to each other in the lamination direction X.
