<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily take out an inner pot only with a usual flange form. <P>SOLUTION: This electric rice cooker includes the inner pot 1 having an outward flange part 1a at least; a container body 2 storing the inner pot 1; a cover 3 covering the container body 2 and the inner pot 1; a heating means 4 heating the inner pot 1 stored in the container body 2; and a control means 5 performing energization control of the heating means 4 to perform rice cooking and heat insulation.
