<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constructible light control system easily applicable to existing illumination such as one for an office. <P>SOLUTION: This light control system includes m pieces of lighting systems and n pieces of illuminance detectors and a control device, and the control device memorizes a contribution a<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>of illuminance F<SB POS="POST">j</SB>of light illuminated from each lighting system to illuminance E<SB POS="POST">i</SB>detected by each illuminance detector in a contribution memorizing means. The illuminance detected by each illuminance detector is set as a detected illuminance vector E, the illuminance illuminated from each lighting system is set as an output illuminance vector F, and target illuminance in each illuminance detector is set as a target illuminance vector E<SB POS="POST">0</SB>. An output illuminance calculating means calculates the output illuminance vector F to minimize an evaluation function comprising a distance ¾E-E<SB POS="POST">0</SB>¾ between the detected illuminance vector E and the target illuminance vector E<SB POS="POST">0</SB>, based on the contribution a<SB POS="POST">i,j</SB>, from the illuminance detected by each illuminance detector.
