<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic paper showing a low global environmental load, superior in dimensional stability, having writability and printability equivalent to or higher than those of conventional synthetic paper, and having a suitable stiffness. <P>SOLUTION: This biodegradable synthetic paper of a polylactic acid resin is constituted by (A) a polylactic acid resin having ≤1.0 or ≥99.0 mol% content of its D-form, (B) a biodegradable polyester resin other than the polylactic acid resin and (C) a fine powdery filler, and the method for producing the biodegradable synthetic paper is provided by melting/kneading the (A) and (B) with the (C) having 0.1 to 0.45 g/cc apparent specific gravity and also a 1 to 8 μm mean particle diameter to form a sheet or film, and then stretching in at least one axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
