Provided is a vehicle system in which the stability of a control system is improved. The vehicle system comprises: U-, V-, and W-phase circuits configured with upper arms and lower arms; a power conversion device having a control circuit; a plurality of battery modules in which a plurality of battery cells are connected in series; and a DC power supply having a controller for detecting the abnormalities of the battery cells. The control circuit performs control so that a three-phase short-circuit period in which one of the upper and upper arms of the U-, V-, and W-phases are all in a nonconductive state and the other arms are all in a conductive state is present in an AC output cycle and the three-phase short-circuit period in the state in which an abnormality is detected in the DC power supply is set longer than the three-phase short-circuit period in the normal state of the DC power supply.
