The present invention discloses a method and system for multi-carrier handover processing, and the method includes: a Source-Evolved NodeB (S-eNB) determines a target Primary Cell (Pcell) and a target Secondary Cell (Scell) according to the obtained supporting carrier aggregation relation between cells of the neighbor eNB, and informs a Target-Evolved NodeB (T-eNB) to which the target Pcell and the target Scell belong. The T-eNB configures the target Pcell, the target Scell and the corresponding handover command, and sends the handover command to the S-eNB. The S-eNB transmits the handover command to the User Equipment (UE), and the UE finishes the handover process according to the handover command. The present invention enables handover of the multi-carrier system. |
