PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for separating micro particles in fluid using ultrasound wave are provided to transfer the sound pressure node of ultrasound standing wave to the specific direction of a micro-channel and to transfer the micro particles according to the sound pressure node of the ultrasound standing wave to be discharged though a pre-set discharging path. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for separating micro particles in fluid using ultrasound wave includes a micro-channel(10), an ultrasound wave generator(16), a reflector(18), and a controller(20). One inlet(12) is formed at one side of the micro-channel. Two outlets(14a, 14b) are formed at opposite side of the micro-channel. The ultrasound wave generator is mounted at one side wall of the micro-channel and applies ultrasound wave to fluid and micro particles in the micro-channel. The reflector is arranged at the opposite side wall of the micro-channel. The reflector reflects the ultrasound wave. The controller controls the frequency sweep of ultrasound standing wave applied to the micro-channel.
